I haven't seen many spring flowers this year. The reason might be because we haven't had really nice weather in the past months or maybe I have always been on the wrong place at the wrong time ... or I just haven't opened my eyes wide enough ;)
This post is my this week's contribution to the Wednesday Walk Challenge hosted by @tattoodjay and the Make me Smile Challenge hosted by
@elizacheng.
Well, to be honest, I have to admit that my walk didn't happen on a Wednesday. At the moment I don't have a lot time for photowalks during the work weeks and I was happy to be able to start this post during my lunchtime, so these photos are from May 1st, 2021, which was a Saturday.
But I have something very special for that, at least I think that such Underwater Flowers have to be something special somehow, because I can't remember to ever have seen a photo of them.
In any case, I personally have never photographed a flower like this. Maybe I should sell the images as NFT's at OpenSea :)

The top of the blossom reaches almost above the water surface into the air.

I can't tell you where I have taken the photos, because since this Flower is so very rare I don't want crowds of photographers running to the reservoir to take a photo or maybe even tear the flower out to plant it into their own pond or swimming pool.
I also wanted to take a photo of a tree growing under water, but all I have found was this old tree trunk which must have been cut decades ago.

So, I hope I could entertain you a little bit with these photos of plants under water or at least that I could paint a little smile into your face 😊
