Nothing Lasts | Zapfic

"Why would you do this?" Marie’s tremulous voice broke.

Four hundred feet down, waves were crashing onto cliff rocks.

All Marie heard was her friend saying, “Nothing lasts – even Mike’s love” before she was shoved, headlong, over the edge.

This is my entry for @felt.buzz's lovely Zapfic contest. I've always enjoyed writing these Zapfics - it has been a good "workout" for my writing muscles.
