Scams

I can't tell you how many scams I've received via email, Facebook, Twitter, etc, over the years, going back to the early 2000's with the Nigerian Prince Emails.

Patience

If somebody emails you about something, then Google it or something. You can even quickly reply with a few things. Short messages. But you can go with your gut in making these choices in how much time and money you want to invest in new things.

So, when strangers email me, I email them my signature, AKA links to my Facebook, Steemit, etc. Many scam emails have ignored the content in my signature.

I should probably write some posts about these things. For me, I consider a lot of this as common sense. But some people might be riding around with their training wheels on. And that's life. People are all at different stages in their lives.

Steemit

When I joined Steemit in 2017, I didn't know if it was a scam or not, but I joined it for free. Somebody must have paid for the registration fee for me. My advice for people is to never gamble more than you are willing to lose.

Reviews

When ever you see a new thing, try to look for some reviews of that new thing, first.

Public

In many cases, scammers may hide behind emails.

So, you should probably try to Google their names.

That might be one of the first things you do.

If you can't find the thing, the website, the person, the company, publicly, then red flag alert, right, generally speaking with maybe a few exceptions, right?

I could probably write all day about this.

This is good advice for people.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Get second opinions before taking investment risks.

Be prepared to fail.

Accept failure when taking risks in life.

And do it with a smile.
