Cognitive dissonance is a divide between truth and belief.
.
Normally, we believe and think stuff first. Then we see the world from that paradigm or perspective or point of view. Somehow, through the charisma of Bill Clinton, we started to fall in love with Bill. Later, when we see evidence that says Bill was a rapist, our brain will throw out the evidence, the facts, the objectivity, because we are too subjective and selective and isolated and blind and deaf and stuff. When we throw out facts, that is called cognitive dissonance and we are all affected by it and we do this thing all the time because we think and believe and feel first and then we only see the world from what that place and we only see what we want to see.
.
