Copying disc 006 of the 22-discs 2023 collection
I used ddrescue to create a 88 MB image file named dvd.iso from a photos album CD, it said 87.64% copied with 10872 kB non-trimmed, 77156 kB copied, 0 B non-tried, 0 B non-scraped, 0 B non-tried, 0 B bad-sector, 0 bad areas. It took around five days to make this copy. But when I got an error when trying to extract this copy.
sudo ddrescue -d -r3 -b2048 /dev/sr0 dvd.iso dvd.map

Like I already said in my last message, I am currently running the last command you gave me above with ddrescue. But I also already told you that I had ddrescue work on this same CD for the past around five days straight. I used a Terminal command that you created for me weeks ago back in October 2025, the bash command was "sudo bash /home/a/rescue_forever.sh" which runs that rescue_forever.sh file that you helped me make, it looks like this .sh file was made or last modified at 07:08:06 PM PDT on Monday, the 27th day of October of 2025 and is a Shell script file. It might be that you optimized the .sh file to especially work to work on DVD related discs. Along with that .sh file is the rescue_forever.sh.save and ddrescue_forever.log files which were made around the same time, all three files might be related but I am not sure. Since I already had your rescue_forever.sh file work on this CD disc for the past five days without stop already, I need to know if the code in the sh file was already as optimal to work photo albums in CD discs or not. I need to know how many more hours or days I should try to work on this depending on how well I already did these past five days which depends at least partly on how good or bad the sh file you made me was or was not. In order to determine whether your code works for DVDs and also CD discs too, study the following text that I found inside the rescue_forever.sh file as follows:
