These are world class 8s of their era, sadly they can't play on forever.
I love Steven Gerrard, I use to call him baby face because he never seem to age, he was a phenomenal number 8 with excellent leadership qualities for the Reds.
Ian Wright and Fredrik Ljungberg were simply class of the their own, you could basically have any of these 8s in your mid-field and be content with their performances.
Super Frank Lampard was class, he was a top 8, the kind of 8 you would send to the pitch as a manager without worries, he just had that quality of producing magical goals and not forgetting his leadership qualities.
If I have to pick my favorite 8, it will have to be Super Frank Lampard.
You've got to love Frank, you just have to!
