I have lived in big cities most of my life and used to see skyscrapers whenever I was in the city center, in Lagos and Johannesburg but when I moved to New Zealand and chose Christchurch as my base, skyscrapers became a thing that I rarely see. There are few in Christchurch, it is understandably so because of earthquake.
It felt different when I was in Wellington for the first time last weekend and saw a lot of skyscrapers, though it is a busier city than Christchurch but can't be compared to how busy Johannesburg or Lagos is.
From my friend's rooftop, I had these views, and the tallest building in Wellington stands out beautifully.
I was in Wellington for two nights and had a different beautiful view of the city, from cloudy sky, sunset, and blue sky. All of these moments were photographed as I took in the views before me.
