It is rarely a dull moment within the cryptocurrency space, there is always something happening to keep us entertained which keeps us going as we enjoy what we are doing.
On the flip side, it is not always fun, looking at the current year-long bear market a lot has transpired, some of us are still here pushing through the tough times, but for some, it has been a different outcome with loss of life apparently over the UST/LUNA incident.
How do we stay the course in times when things aren't going our way in our cryptocurrency journey?
Happiness
Our happiness is of utmost importance in whatever endeavor we are involved in be it business, relationship, or anything, we have to be in a happy state for better performance.
To achieve a happy state of mind, we have to be mindful of our surroundings, and the people we associate with. You don't want to be in a crypto group chat or community with toxic conversations, letting FUD dominate our emotions.
Hanging out with people of positive impact, as they look beyond the present difficulties, helps in maintaining a happy state of mind. Go out, engage in some fun activities, and let the market do its thing.
Our happiness is a priority, therefore anything of the contrary should be rid of.
Progression
The bear market isn't entirely bad news, it is often a time when the developers get to the work, building, for those of us that are non-devs, there are opportunities around, and time can be put into research, finding that gem for investment purpose, sticking to the sustainable projects we are involved in the pre-bear market. The likes of us on Hive are very fortunate to be progressing by increasing our token holdings despite the year-long bear market. The positive outcome of this will be felt when the bull market arrives. Achieving our goals isn't going to be smooth sailing, actions should be taken progressively regardless.
Gratefulness
The little wins in life are worth being grateful for, we tend to want results a lot quicker but forget growing up wasn't instant, there were moments of crawling, learning how to talk, walking, etc. Stages in life call for being grateful provided there is life. So as long as our cryptocurrency holdings are put to work via staking to earn yields, or being HODL and not making silly decisions that resulted in losses, we have to be grateful with the focus on where we are headed.
We are in Q4 of 2022, and it hasn't been easy, for those of us that keep sailing away kudos to us as we stay the course.
