It was a bit of an overcast day as the draw to an end. I headed for the beach around the 18th hour, that is when you will find me out for a walk since I can't stand the heat in the afternoon yet. Honestly, if I have a wish for Benin it will be to make the temperature cooler.
I enjoy the place more in cooler temperatures which haven't been much since I arrived, so waiting till the evening is when you will find me out for a walk.
The beach was quiet, with few people as usual, I was surprised to see the beach full on Easter Monday when I went for a walk with my sister it feels good to see the beach packed for a change since I arrived in Benin. But on this day it was a quiet beach walk for me as usual.
I had my selfie stick with me, I wonder who still uses selfie sticks these days except me, is it still a thing? Though mine serves the purpose of a tripod for when I do video recordings and a selfie stick besides I didn't buy it back then because it was a thing most bought.
Taking in the sea breeze, admiring the ocean waves, and photographing the moments were all I did and it was enjoyable to leisurely spend time walking on the beach.
