The hours of entertainment Netflix provides is enough to keep viewers engrossed for hours as they enjoy movies after movies, I have been too occupied for movies but to my surprise I watched three movies consecutively last weekend, for a change it was enjoyable but of course I wasn't going to watch movies for that long alone I certainly have better things to do on Hive. Call me a Hive addict and you are right!
It is a habit to evaluate growth over quarters of the year be it personal or organizations. Netflix's Q1 evaluation doesn't reflect positive result subscribers-wise.
Video streaming giant Netflix blamed password sharing, inflation, the Russia-Ukraine war, and inflation for a 200,000 drop in subscribers in Q1, as shares plummeted by over 25% on the news

Haven enjoyed high number of subscribers during covid as the world was placed under house arrest, that success isn't going to last for ever with lockdowns lifted and less people confined to their homes with nothing to do but seat in front of the TV their whole day.
I basically stopped paying for my DSTV subscription here in SA after being able to afford first-two months payment during lockdown, it made no sense to keep paying while under house arrest with no funds coming in. And I made the decision not to go back paying after lockdown got lifted.
Russia-Ukraine war is a definite blow to increase number of Netflix subscribers, hardly anyone in those countries are in the right state of mind for Netflix presently as fear for life dominates their thoughts, hopefully the damn war ends soon.
I see continuous decline in number of subscribers for Q2 with Netflix expecting the same outcome considering the above factors, inflation etc. The world is going through tough times financially cutting down on things one can do without have to be implemented to ease financial burden, perhaps this is easier for me because I live alone, for families with kids it might be tougher having to cut off Netflix subscription.
Any one on Hive cutting off Netflix subscription? I never had one!
