My Friday afternoon walk listening to a podcast had me thinking deeply when the speaker mentioned leaning towards the future rather than against it. This reminds me of the post I shared recently How much of a beating are crypto trailblazers up for? while this post is not about the beatings and the uphills we go through for being early crypto adopters, I'd like to look at what leaning towards the future means to me.
There have been times in my life where I went on with life, going about my activities, goals etc. Some panned out the way I wanted it, some didn't but we all know such is live, we don't always get what we want. The point is only later in the future I get to see dots connected, why this happened and why not. Therefore, I applaud myself for making the move which was by faith without knowing what the outcome will be. And for the ones I didn't make a move on, looking back the feel in some cases are regret.
Primarily we tend to lean towards the future, more reason why we would want to get that degree for a good job, we set goals, we want to live the next day and so on.
A purposeful side of life for me now is being involved in Blockchain/Cryptocurrency, it is no longer a doubt if cryptos will be part of our future, while still in its experimental stages, placing myself in position of opportunity is why I find it purposeful, there's a deeper meaning to being a crypto enthusiasts for me. This way am leaning towards the future of crypto, like I have never in my life on any other thing, I find myself tapping into something revolutionary.
It took a while for me to access the internet, a little longer for my first cellphone as for crypto, it took five years after its gift to the world for me to encounter it and since then its possibility of being part of our world going forward gets clearer and is worth leaning into.
