I drove back to Christchurch on the same day we had our Christmas party but for me, I was not so keen on rushing down for the Christmas party, I was rather keen on stopping at every possible scenic spot.
I had seen Lake Pukaki on my right during the drive to Queenstown, I was determined to stop on my way back to Christchurch.
And I wasn't alone on the scenic stops, my colleague was, he stopped at more spots because after he had left Queenstown about 2 hours before me, I caught up with him incidentally at Lake Pukaki Viewpoint and we helped each other with photographs.
Lake Tekapo was my next stop...
