DAO hasn't been a topic that has received much interest from me, having an idea of what it entails have been sufficient for me with my attention mostly on other crypto related stuff. Thankfully, Task shares posts about Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAO) every now and then, the latest being The Power Of The DAO, a refreshing post showing the potential of DAO in comparison to the current system we have.
Earlier in the week a friend told me about a Broadcast Engineering learnership of which she will be attending an induction for. The learnership offers $115 monthly with classes 8 times monthly for a year.
The question that came to mind was why 8 times classes/month for a year? I felt it is a waste of time, why not have the entire course duration at 5-6 months, I think that will be time saving.
From the induction she gathered, classes are going to be daily excluding weekends with $115 monthly, unfortunately cost of transportation amounts to $153 per month so it basically makes no sense to pursue the learnership. Chanel a year into some other productive thing and better result(s) will be accomplished.
I have developed a habit of having different perspective of things as a result of being active in the crypto world. What I see with this learnership is part of the funds allocated is being diverted to personal pocket(s), a very common act in our world.
This is where I see DAO solving corruption problem, have a learnership program of this kind funded by DAO and it will be a different approach and outcome. First the means of diverting funds allocated for the projected is eliminated since every transaction is on the blockchain for anyone to see, efficiency and duration of the learnership can be shorten for quicker completion.
Hive is making an impact in Ghana, delivering boreholes in communities without access to water A successful completion of first phase (drilling) of Hive borehole project in Ghana not sure on how funds was raised for the borehole projects in Ghana but that is showing the power of what cryptocurrency can achieve autonomously. Try allocating funds to some government official it be a case of those in charge paying themselves first before drawing a project plan.
If you are finding answers as to why, cryptocurrency is receiving hostility from some out there, it is because they are benefiting from a system without fairness.
