After hiking at Hokitika Gorge, we headed to Arahura Valley home apartment that we have booked for our stay in Hokitika.
Arahura Valley is situated right on the beach ⛱️ and that for me was so cool 😎
After checking, we collected wood, and lit the fire 🔥 and I was looking forward to sunset over the ocean, but it was too cloudy.
I didn't get sunset but I enjoyed the fire and having dinner with beer on the beach was a delight.
At about 8pm we put put the fire and headed out to go see the glow worms. Unfortunately failed to photograph the glow worms because the flash 📸 from my camera would scare them as they only glow in the dark.
Nevertheless, it was a lovely experience being in the forest at night in darkness to see the glow worms.
