It's been one hell of a busy past twelve days for me working away from home and putting in more than eight hours per day, so when @sagesigma invited me to partake in get to know each other, I felt writing a post right away but the fatigue prevailed and the time was so limited as the rat race dominated my life...
So with a bit of a breather, let's get to know me.
The Challenge Is:
Answer these questions:
- What have you done in November?
- What are your plans for December and the new year?
- How's 2021 treated you so far?
AND
I also challenge you to make up TWO new questions!
Tag three (or more) of your friends on Hive and let us get to know each other a little bit better!
It might interest you to check out @emuse's post the initiator of this challenge Challenge - Let's sum up this year and get to know each other!
1. What have you done in November?
To put it simple November was crappy! How crappy? Crappy in the sense of getting a job as a RF team leader for maintenance on cellphone towers that are down due to vandals.
I specialize in In-Building RF, therefore tower's side of RF is not my thing but when the offer came I took it for the sake of not seating at home and to also stop me from living off my Hive earnings as am still in building phase of my stake.
I wasn't surprised the job was crappy, the long hours irritated the hell out of me, I couldn't engage as intended on Hive, my Splinterlands suffered as I had limited time for it.
I hate driving, so the long drive was f*cking me up! One other weekend I drove as far as Botswana boader (few kilometers away) for a job.
Again, in a nutshell November was crappy and to save my skin I quit the damn job!
2. What are your plans for December and the new year?
December arrived with a project I have been expecting, again this is just work related, one has to survive isn't it? I just hate the amount of time we put into working living us very little time to do what we love and spend time with love ones.
More reason why am on Hive building my stake towards exiting the rat race.
The plan for December is simple get the project done as quick as possible, so that has worked out fairly okay with myself and two other teammates we have pushed the project to 45% completion. We've now taken a break to re-commence 3rd January.
By the way this project is In-Building RF for a new mall I Rustenburg, Tlhabane Square, despite the long hours we put in here, I prefer it to the damn towers and driving around the entire county.
For me nothing am more obsessed with than growing my crypto stake, there's a lot going on requiring one's involvement to be better placed for the opportunities crypto presents and am very keen on making that a continuous priority.
Am also looking at RF opportunities in other countries where the working condition is better and of course better payment...
3. How's 2021 treated you so far?
AND
November was crappy but 2021 has been a b*tch!
I almost became homeless, haven stayed in my current place and never behind with rent my landlord just wouldn't give me more time as I awaited payment of a project I did.
I became jobless in March, it was tough, rough but for some disciplined reason I wouldn't want to spend any of my Hive. Crazy of me hey! I would chat with @josediccus and he would motivate me and make me realize spending from my Hive is not that bad but to look at it as a means to helping me in this difficult situation.
I started living off Hive fully in September, the SPS and HE tokens played a major role in alleviating the struggle.
Few days to the end of the year, I feel stronger, am more hopeful of Hive being a reliable source of income if you work with patient and consistent. I look forward to 2022 full of hope as I can only continue to grow provided I keep working at every aspect of my life.
2021 my have been a b*tch but also succeeded in making stronger.
To answer your questions @sagesigma, my favorite author would be Jame Hadley Chase 😃 old school and haven't read his novels for a while but that's one writer that keeps me glued until the last page.
And my favorite painter is actually none, I like art to some degree and appreciate them, wouldn't mind spending on them also but a favorite painter isn't one I have paid attention to. Perhaps it's time I do.
My Questions:
Goals and Family, achieve them simultaneously or focus on one at a time?
Mountains or Beach which is your prefence?
I invite @josediccus,
@pixiepost and
@monica-ene for this challenge.
Thank you.
We owe it to ourselves to make Hive great
