Street Foods Can be Mouth-watering too.

The title of this post was actually the direct translation from the Malay Language to English, of the stall's name that I am about to introduce to you all. It is located in Pulau Pinang (Penang), north of Malaysia.

This place is a food stall just beside the main road, in front of it is a bus stop. They are famous for their Nasi Ayam (Chicken Rice) and the Ikan Bawal Goreng (Fried Pomfret). Every year, @roselifecoach will go back to her hometown, Penang and I will tack along with her for food hunting. Her brother brought us to this stall a few years back, and it has become a "must eat place" for us because we fell in love with the "Pomfret"!!

I was told the fresh fish comes in daily, marinated and cook only when there is an order placed, very different from other food stalls where they will fry the fish in advance so they can sell faster in amount. As for this stall, you will need to really wait for the fish to be cooked properly, hence a longer waiting time.

The dish looks really simple and unattractive, but the taste is the MOST important in a dish, plus it comes with three different sauce, mixed them all together and you have yourself a Mouth-watering moment. So, the 3 bowls are fish curry with ladyfingers (yummmyyy!!), the sambal (chilli paste) and the last bowl is a mixture of hot chillies (cili padi), onions, garlic and soy sauce. Gosh, I am swallowing my saliva while writing this!

I really like the curry, mix it with hot steamy rice and you can get a burn in your mouth! And the soy sauce I will dip with the fish, hot and spicy as well. In the end, you will come out with a burning mouth, and sweating!

Simple food, spicy life!! Hahaha...
