Since today marks the Chinese New Year, and 2018 is declared to be the Year of the Dog, I find it only fitting to present this dog art for your appreciation. Using only found objects outside, I turned a mysterious and abandoned concrete slab with metal plates into the face of a dog.
I enjoy going out into the world and creating art with random materials that are found on site. This piece was created in an off-the-beaten-path area of nature so it may even stand the test of time--unless real animals trash it. Regardless, the metal dog makes for a great addition to my Things with Faces art series.
