so basically.... a young male orangutan .....
makes a 30-meter.....about 100 feet climb ....
up the thickest root he could find.....
to feast on the crop of figs.
of the strangler fig... that has entwined itself around a tree!!!
in the rich rain forest of the Gunung Palung National Park
in West Kalimantan.... on the island of Borneo!
so Tim...had to do three days of climbing up and down himself....
by rope.....
to place in position several Go Pro cameras that he could then trigger remotely...
