This game according to the Manifesto, promises many things. For one I admire the confidence of the founder as eXode is inspired by another successful card game Splinterland or Steemonster.

There is a Roadmap and that is to me essential but doesn't guarantee it to be a runaway overnight success only time can tell.

As the collectible cards are Non-Fungible Token (NFT), sound like a type of🍄🍄🍄 according to @elindos in a chat, with the fork left steem-engine in a tiny dysphoria for the devs. Guess that's all cleared up over the extra week and quarantine from the real world coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

What can we expect on Sunday?

I am not really sure. All I know it'll cost USD 5.00 per entry pack. And I believe this is the first game on HIVE that accepts both STEEM and HIVE. That will help bridging this two blockchains from the same 'mother'.

Can I profit from this?

There is a chance you can but zero probability if you just ignore it and move on to holybread. No guarantees. However, I can guarantee some emotional feedback if you do engage. LOL.

One thing was noted, eXode discourages bots and promotes human game play. If it does as it's manifesto promises, who needs bot? I like good bot but not bad bots. Good bots alleviate stress from dull mundane tasks.
