In this video, I cover some of the numbers behind what a potential pre-sale for Battle For Praetoria could do in terms of locking up significant quantities of DEC. The biggest factor will also be how much in credits is coming in because that would mean DEC leaving the DAO to cover the back end of those transactions but steady inflows and outflows of DEC to the DAO is to be expected. Let's say a pre-sale of 250k packs is sold at 4k DEC - that right there would lock up 1 billion DEC tokens (almost 20% of the circulating supply) and it would take awhile for those to recirculate back out from the DAO using today's average run rate of credits inflows.
