A beautiful day Hivers!
Do we wait for an occasion for us to bind as one family? For me no, every day is a SPECIAL DAY鈾ワ笍! Even in my own little family, we used to go out without an important occasion. It's our way of giving our time to our kids since we're both busy with work. I believe that it's the most precious time for our children being together in different places.
This time, with a bigger family. Both sides are present. My root family with my mother and father, brother and sister with nephews and nieces. We are seven siblings in the family however, others were working in the city, so, this is just a quick and unplanned one.
My husband's side, his mother and father with his brother and nephew, and also his two daughters from a previous girl (I revealed it on my second blog, hehe).
The culture of Filipino is we gather together when there are occasions like birthdays, fiestas, weddings, or worst funerals. Again, I would not wait for that would happen because every day is a special day.
Why do we treat our family without an occasion?
It happened during the second week of August and no reason for celebration, however in our hearts and mind (with my husband) there's should have been a celebration and it's to treat them with gratitude. This is our first-ever treat with the whole family! The time is right, also a perfect venue for everyone.
Picture taking before having a huge fight馃槄
One big happy family
We took them to Dampa Seafood and Grill Restobar. We wanted them to try their unique and tasty recipes here. We've been here multiple times so, the crews here are like our friends without knowing the names馃槄. What we like in this restaurant is they have friendly and approachable crews much more to its food here. The price is all worth it.
These are my parents, meet my Mama and Papa. They have been great parents to us, imagine seven siblings with low income would not supposedly suffice our needs but it's possible. So, thankful to them for how they raised us with humbleness and gratefulness.
Seeing them happy made me happy as well being one of the children. I am the middle child, and like there's something guilty feeling I can't explain. Is it because I fail them to walk down the aisle? Well, I guess not. Okay, never mind. What's important is right now, I may have failed them for not walking or somewhere but not in my entire service to them. I love my parents more than people know. I may not be showy but I easily get hurt when people talked or touch them. It would be a big fight then馃槩.
Anyway, let's eat! When we talk about family, we get emotional. Why is it so? We can't control our feelings but cry. This only shows how we love and cherish our family no matter what.
Our family was enjoying the food. They really like the served food indeed. We have ordered two boodle fights good for 5 pax, rice, bebe soup, a pitcher of iced teas, and their best-seller seafood cajun.
I don't have decent pictures while eating so we could have time to chitchat and everything we could tackle while dining.
After a sumptuous dinner, we decided to continue the discussion in their mini ground where kids can play again (they already played on the PlayStation). Kids are requesting an ice cream so, we have an ice cream party. Even as adults we're enjoying their ice cream.
On the ground, they have a fish pond with Koi fish.
A photo opportunity with our parents. My parents-in-law have been so good to me since day one. Never have I heard them throwing hurtful words but rather words of encouragement. They are an example of a good couple and a follower of God. They always remind us to go to church every Sunday and other reminders for our small family. My husband came from a loving and caring family and it reflects in our family.
Such a blessing to have a harmonious relationship with our family, relatives, neighbors, and friends. Peace of mind cannot equal money rather it gives us positive vibes and is full of love.
Whether occasion or not
How can this man take a photo without me? Hehe
All this credits to my husband who shouldered all these expenses. Love yah!
I joBEElieve I can with my family and so you can!
I think that's all for this blog Hivers and have a blessed day!
