God is good and He is not happy that evil is happening in this world, He always want the best for us because we're all his children. Instead, evil and suffering entered the world through human sin and the brokenness of creation. God’s character is consistently described as loving and righteous, meaning He does not take pleasure in wrongdoing or in people’s pain.
At the same time, Scripture shows that God sometimes allows difficult or painful situations to happen. This does not mean He is the source of evil, but that He can permit hardship for reasons beyond human understanding. These situations are often used to reveal human dependence on God, to correct wrong paths, or to develop patience and faith.
The Bible also shows that humans have free will, and many forms of evil come from the choices people make. Wrong decisions, injustice, and sin in the world lead to suffering that God does not directly cause. However, God is not powerless in these situations; He is still at work, even in painful circumstances, to bring about good outcomes for those who trust Him.
