The Bay and the Energy - Surfing Refractions.
Captured by Bernardo Martins Xavier, this rare session follows surfer João Parmagnani gliding on his 9’4” Diamond longboard through the unlikely waves of Vitória Bay, Espírito Santo. In a place known more for fishing than surfing, a unique combination of swell, wind, and tide transformed the calm waters into a fleeting playground. What unfolded was a poetic intersection of science, chance, and curiosity, a moment where refraction, friendship, and the art of observation turned the ordinary into something quietly extraordinary.
