Golden shimmer off the water creating a fairy tale picture of grasses and bushes in the region, enjoying the lighting only, when resizing smaller for ease of uploading did I notice Hippo bobbing around in the waters.
Long shadows form behind the grasses capturing last rays of light before day is done, time of quiet tranquility when everyone has gone indoors before the cool winter night.
Animals make their way to places of rest as evening descends, warmth of day slowly edging away with veld going into a gold with green.
Above the swirling ripples of the estuary birds fly inland finding a spot to roost for the night, dropping through the golden rays departing.
Last painted sky with silver slither of moon appearing, golden hour is almost over with change in colours once again.
