I soar, Sparrow, speck in the sun,
over the yawn and crush,
the tumult roars to the horizon.
Raging, writhing,
black tempest swallows the sun.
Tangled and drowning,
devoured by the abyss,
clinging to the throat of hell.
The placid deep crushes my frame,
electric pulses swim my bones.
Farewell Sparrow and Sunshine,
Goodbye Ocean.
Alive, or not dead.
Steady in the sweep and sway,
The mask is torn away.
Freedom, or losing all that isn't mine.
