I didn't know Rafael died so young. A real pity, like so many others -v. gr. Schubert, Mozart, or the great Pascal-, since without being connoisseur of pictorial art I can realize that he seems to have been a genial man. I was very impressed by his painting on the Transfiguration, and of course I feel very represented by my vocation with "The School of Athens".
