I have an apron that I wanted to personalize so that other people would know that it was mine. I want to leave my apron at the senior center sometimes so that I can protect my clothing when the clay work gets really messy.
I have already committed to wearing scrubs while working on the pottery wheel, but sometimes I wear regular clothing.
There is an area where some students leave aprons so that they don鈥檛 have to carry them back-and-forth. Since my apron is a commercial apron, I wanted to personalize it so that I would recognize it if I saw it on someone else.
What started off as a cup and saucer and then a round disc ended up looking like a steaming potato. It is really funny looking, but the more that I tried to make it into something else, it got worse and worse.
I should not have tried to paint from scratch without sketching something before I started to paint. Who do I think I am? Oh well, no one will want to wear this apron with the image that I have painted on it. 馃槅
