Welcome, passionate friends of this fantastic "Wednesday Walk" community! It is a joy to be here and join our friend tattoodjay in his weekly invitation to take part in a challenge that is not only good for us physically, but also allows us to practice our photography skills.

You may recall that in previous posts, I shared the walks we took in towns in the countryside. This week, we decided to return for a walk through one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city center. It is a residential complex featuring many buildings adorned with beautiful artworks; since even more beauty has been added, we decided to pay it a visit.

This "neighborhood" borders one of the recently constructed "cultural" spaces, and many of you will surely remember the visits we have made to this charming recreational area. In truth, this space is lovely; whenever we walk by, we find ourselves stopping to take photographs of its beautiful architecture—a true gem from that era.

Interestingly, last week's ¨post¨:  had to do with a walk we did in a ¨plaza¨: which carries the ...the name of this "neighborhood". Both spaces pay tribute to one of our "founding figures".

What is so delightful about this beautiful complex—beyond the ornamentation on the building facades—are the pathways between the structures; for the little ones, it’s especially tempting to walk and run through the gardens found throughout the complex. Honestly, every time we’ve decided to visit this place, we’ve had a truly great time.
