A day spent with the intention of capturing shots for the "Monomad" challenge [Esp/Eng].

Hola a todos los apasionados seguidores de esta inigualable ¨Black¨-¨And¨-¨White Community¨: . Aquellos que sienten pasión por los momentos fotográficos van a comprender esta expresión. Hay días en que me despierto pensando en ir a la ciudad para hacer exclusivamente tomas en "monomad"; estos son momentos que surgen de la nada y nada me detiene para tomar mi cámara y visitar la ¨ribera¨: 

Hello to all the passionate followers of this unique "Black and White" community. Those who have a passion for photographic moments will understand this sentiment. There are days when I wake up thinking about heading into the city specifically to capture shots for "Monomad"—these are moments that arise out of nowhere, and nothing stops me from grabbing my camera and visiting the riverside.

Los paseos ¨fotograficos¨:  son momentos especiales que uno vive mientras camina; estos son destellos que hacen interferencia en la razón y estimulan hacer una fotografía a algo que le causó un gran agrado.

Photowalks are special moments experienced while walking; they are flashes of inspiration that interrupt rational thought and compel one to photograph something that has brought a great sense of pleasure.

Aquellos que acostumbran hacer tomas en la¨calle¨:  saben que los objetivos son como las presas de un cazador; ellas se presentan de la nada y hay que reaccionar de manera rápida para que el cuadro que captó la atención no se pierda, y finalmente poder retratar esos momentos únicos.

Those who are accustomed to taking shots on the "street" know that subjects are like a hunter’s prey; they appear out of nowhere, and one must react quickly so that the scene that caught one's attention isn't lost—ultimately allowing for those unique moments to be captured.

Me apasiona caminar con mi cámara preparada, lista para obtener una toma ¨expontanea¨: como sucedió con este par de amigas compartiendo el ¨mate¨:  aquel vehículo pesado transportando un contenedor.

I am passionate about walking around with my camera at the ready, prepared to capture a "spontaneous" shot—like the one of two friends sharing some "mate," the heavy vehicle transporting a shipping container.

Situaciones como las que estoy mencionando son lo que llama mi atención y despierta en mí hacer tomas pensando en este maravilloso ¨concurso¨:  Como siempre menciono, siempre es un gran placer poder hacer este tipo de fotografías que tanto me agradan.

Situations like the ones I’m mentioning are what catch my eye and inspire me to take photos with this wonderful “contest” in mind. As I always say, it is a great pleasure to be able to take these kinds of photographs, which I enjoy so much.
