The first batch of homemade Dandelion Tea turn out pretty good. I wasn鈥檛 sure how many Dandelion flowers to grab from our chemical free backyard. So I used approximately 50-60 flowers and 3 quarts of water.
The Dandelions have multiplied big time so I put the kids to work gathering all the flowers in the yard and in the garden area.

Holy Crap we had a ton of Dandelion flowers. Almost filled up a 4 qt stainless steal bowl.
The kids got kind of wild at the start and ended up collecting a bunch of grass. So I had them dump out their first pickens and pull just the Dandelion flowers out and place in their containers.
These flowers filled up a 5 qt pot about 3/4 of the way. Then I filled it up with water to the top and brought it to a sight boil.
I let this batch steep for about an hour and a half. In combination with the increased amount of Dandelion flowers, this should be a pretty intense batch.
After digging all the flowers out I used a paper towel on a mesh strainer as a filter.

This second round of tea making turned out incredibly better than the first.
