You should try! What I did is find and join a tourney that costs only 10 DEC to enter (mostly sponsored by splinterland tournaments). If I lose then I only lose10 DEC but if I win and somehow get a rank in the leaderboard then 10 DEC becomes like x10+ or something.

This tournament just ended and I somehow was able to rank 40 and got myself 100 DEC reward. Not much but at least I got to experience tournaments. It's actually fun! You really should try!
