Well believe it or not I have been playing this game for years now but this is the first time I have advanced to ROUND 2 in Tournaments. The reason being, I have just started participating in Tournaments the last 2 weeks. XD
And what do you know, Rank #19 on the ongoing one. Got Lucky on my matchups that's why.
I might have the wrong impression on how the tournament works at first. I thought most players who is participating on this tournaments have max level cards and therefore the prizes are geared to them without a chance for low level players like me to win but apparently this is not the case since there are level caps on tournaments.
Like the one I entered above. It has a SILVER level limit cap so monsters has a limit of only 5 for COMMON, 4 for RARE, 3 for EPIC and 2 for LEGENDARY which honestly fits with my current level of cards at the moment.
This gives at least a small chance for low level players like me to win a place to get some rewards. Well mostly likely not to be around the top 20 with other high level players with almost complete deck still joining the silver tournaments but it does give a chance to win at least Rank 30-128.
Reward~wise it isn't really that high. But the experience and joy of winning and losing is enough for me to continue participating in future tournaments.
This also honestly made me want to buy ALL cards at least own a level 1 cards especially the legendary summoners.
I probably will have all my matches in Round 2 result in a lose seeing my match-ups today. Still a fun tourney! XD
