Yesterday was an unusually productive day for me (considering how difficult these days are here, I mean)... During the morning, I made several deliveries to some of our clients here in town, and after lunch, I took a taxi to Bejuma (a town about 7 kilometers from ours) to provide technical support (social media advertising, inventory software, retail credit applications, and the like) to a now not-so-small auto parts store owned by a couple of friends who co-own it... This last bit earned me a good amount of extra money, enough to cover household expenses until the end of the month and maybe a little more... After doing all this, I returned home around 7:00 PM, had a light dinner, chatted amiably with my mother, my wife, my daughter, my niece (goodness, I'm the only man left living in our family here in town 😂), and around 10:00 PM, I went to sleep Until exactly 5:21 AM today (I wake up without an alarm and almost always before 6:00 AM)... But shortly after getting up, I discovered I was going to have one of those mornings where my behavior is difficult to understand and even more difficult for others to tolerate... So after getting ready and drinking a cup of coffee, feeding my pets, I went to my small studio and locked myself in there to look at photos... Looking at photos, selecting some, and then processing them with relative calm is something that almost always helps me deal with my now classic bipolarity, and this was no exception, because almost past mid-morning I emerged from my "creative confinement" and interacted with my family in a more or less normal way...

Ayer fue un día atípicamente productivo para mi (tomando en cuenta como son de difíciles estos días aquí, digo)... Durante la mañana hice varios despachos de productos algunos de nuestros clientes aquí en el pueblo, y luego de almorzar, me trasladé en taxi a Bejuma (un pueblo a unos 7 kilómetros del nuestro) estuve dando apoyo tecnológico (publicidad en redes, software de inventario, aplicaciones de crédito al detal y afines) a una ya no muy pequeña tienda de venta de repuestos automotrices perteneciente a un par de amigos que la tienen en sociedad... Esto ultimo me reportó un buen dinero extra, lo suficiente para completar los gastos del hogar de aquí a fin de mes y un poco más quizás... Después de hacer todo esto volví a casa cerca de las 7:00 PM, cené ligeramente, estuve conversando afablemente con mi madre, mi esposa, mi hija, mi sobrina (cielos, el único hombre que queda viviendo de nuestra familia aquí en el pueblo, soy yo 😂) y ya cerca de las 10:00 PM me fui a dormir hasta justamente las 5:21 AM de hoy (me despierto sin usar despertador y casi siempre antes de las 6:00 AM)... Pero al poco de estar de pie, descubrí que tendría una de esas mañanas en las cuales mi comportamiento es difícil de comprender y aún más difícil de soportar por pate de otros... Así que luego de prepararme y beber una taza de café, dar de comer y mis mascotas, me dirigí a mi pequeño estudio y me encerré allí a mirar fotos... Mirar fotos, seleccionar algunas y luego procesarlas con relativa calma, es algo que me sirve casi siempre para lidiar como mi ya clásica bipolaridad, y no fue una excepción, pues casi pasada la media mañana salí de mi "encierro creativo" e interactué con mi familia de manera más o menos normal...

And well, these photos that I'm sharing with you today here on #Hive are precisely the ones I selected and processed during those long two hours I spent locked in my studio... And the title "Tiny Stories" came to me, because it seems to me that these photos have in common that they are street scenes in which, from a certain distance, you can see quite a bit of the town's happenings, its inhabitants immersed in the everyday... And I liked them, and I really enjoyed reliving them (because that's what I feel happens when I'm processing my archive photos, "reviving" them), they are so spontaneous, they seemed frank and sweetly eloquent...

Y bueno, estas fotos las cuales comparto con ustedes hoy aquí en #Hive, son precisamente las que seleccioné y procesé durante esas dos horas largas en las que estuve encerrado en mi estudio... Y el título "Historias Diminutas" vino a mi mente caray, porque precisamente me parece que estas fotos tienen en común el ser imágenes callejeras en las cuales, a cierta distancias, se ve bastante del acontecer del pueblo sus habitantes inmersos en lo cotidiano... Y me han gustado, y me gustó mucho revivirlas (porque eso es lo que siento que sucede cuando estoy procesando mis fotos de archivo "revivir), son tan espontáneas, me parecieron francas y dulcemente elocuentes...
