Today I reviewed my recent files. More precisely, my files from last March. And among the many things I thought about while searching for and finding unpublished photographs, I couldn't help but notice how distant these images seemed. In fact, looking at them, I felt as if they belonged to a very distant past, not to a month that only ended 20 days ago. But that's often the case for me. Or perhaps it's common for many people here, since "time and its duration" is a frequent topic among neighbors and family members in any casual, everyday conversation. And it's true, in these small towns, I think, that time tends to compress or expand depending on the mood of the person thinking about it. And I know it sounds strange, because, as I read somewhere鈥擨 can't remember where鈥攖ime itself is nothing more than a measure invented by ourselves. But I'm not here to talk about relativity and related things. The truth is, I just wanted to point out that, at least today, it seemed to me that the days here have lengthened. And it seems to me, by the way, that the ones that drag on are those from the past, because as far as the present and the future are concerned, those seem short and pass quickly...
And I suppose you yourselves have recently noticed how much abstraction there is in what I write. And well, the truth is that even I've noticed it. But I don't hold back, because I think it's simply that I'm having "days when I want to think this way," and therefore, I end up writing it down. And I think that's also part of, and a cause of, the existence of this blog of mine here on #Hive. I'm referring to "transparency," to writing as I'm thinking, because after all, I tend to fluctuate frequently. And certainly, it's good to use this space to put it all down in writing...
Hoy revis茅 mis archivos recientes. M谩s precisamente, mis archivos de Marzo pasado. Y entre tantas cosas que pens茅 mientras buscaba y encontraba fotograf铆as in茅ditas, no pude evitar en cuan lejanas me parec铆an estas im谩genes. Pero as铆 suele sucederme.
Pero no me privo, pues creo que ocurre que simplemente estoy en "d铆as de querer pensar as铆" y por ende, termino escribi茅ndolo.
