The visual narrative of the streets of Montalbán, the town where I live, is somewhat complex. It's about everyday life immersed in a kind of repose during the early hours of the day. This is especially true and noticeable when the fog engulfs the valley and the streets transform into riddles of dense atmosphere, from whose utterly white depths things like dogs and people often emerge... And the light bulbs on the lampposts, some glow with a lifeless spirit, while others are simply a dark shape among the tangles of wires whose purpose no one knows... It's easy to get lost, or to remain silent, or to invent stories for oneself that oscillate between truth and fable... I have these streets, yes, but these streets also certainly have me... Then it occurs to me that it's not mere coincidence that these streets and I are together, them unfolding, me recording them, while these beings that emerge from the whiteness simply appear without understanding that they are part of that narrative that unfolds in the early hours... This, too, is street photography: the uncertain, the diffuse, the ethereal, and the temporal... These photos that I brought today to share with you on #Hive speak precisely of that. Because I can establish a dialogue with the fog, every time it occurs...

La narrativa visual de las calles de Montalbán, este pueblo en donde vivo, es algo complejo. Pues se trate de la cotidianidad sumida en una especie de reposo de las primeras horas del día. Esto es especialmente cierto y perceptible, cuando la niebla invade el valle y las calles se transforman en acertijos de atmósfera densa, desde cuyo fondo absolutamente blanco suelen emerger cosas como perros y personas... Y las bombillas de las lámparas de los postes, brillan con animo mortecino algunas, mientras otras son simplemente una forma obscura entre las marañas de cables que nadie sabe para que son... Así es fácil perderse, o quedarse en silencio, o inventarse para uno mismo historias que oscilan entre lo cierto y la fábula... Yo tengo estas calles, sí, pero estas calles también me tienen a mi ciertamente... Entonces se me ocurres que no es mera casualidad que estas calles y yo estemos juntos, ellas ocurriendo, yo registrándolas, mientras que estos seres que emergen de lo blanco, simplemente aparecen sin entender que son parte de esa narrativa que ocurre en las primeras horas... Esto es también fotografía callejera: Lo incierto, lo difuso, lo etéreo y lo temporal... Estas fotos que traje hoy para compartir con ustedes hoy en #Hive, hablan de eso precisamente. Porque yo puedo establecer es diálogo con la niebla, cada vez que ella ocurre...
