Hello #Hive friends!.... Today I have to share with you some pictures of different bugs, which were the result of going for a walk in a nearby forest... When I got there I found a great diversity of insects and this obviously allowed me to take a lot of pictures... I wanted to separate the butterflies pictures in a separate publication which you can see HERE... And the rest of the insects I grouped them in today's publication. 🐜

¡Hola amigos de #Hive!... Hoy tengo para compartir con ustedes algunas fotografías de bichos diversos, las cuales fueron el resultado de salir a caminar en un bosque cercano... Cuando llegué allí encontré gran diversidad de insectos y esto evidentemente me permitió hacer muchas fotografías... QUise separar las fotos de mariposas en una publicación aparte la cual pueden apreciar AQUI... Y el resto de los insectos los agrupé en esta publicación de hoy. 🐜

The weather here during June is hot, humid and with frequent rains, this is typical of the rainy season in my country. Also the luminosity is usually quite good for this type of photography thanks to the presence of low clouds that generate a very even luminosity, this allows to avoid the use of flash in most of the situations.

El clima aquí durante en Junio es caluroso, húmedo y con lluvias frecuentes, esto es algo típico de la temporada lluviosa en mi país. También la luminosidad suele ser bastante buena para este tipo de fotografías gracias a la presencia de nubes bajas que generan una luminosidad muy pareja, esto permite evitar el uso del flash en la mayoría de las situaciones.

After the dry season, the vegetation recovers its foliage very quickly and life begins to emerge everywhere. The diversity of species is overwhelming and at times it is difficult to decide where to point the camera lens.... This is a delightful "problem" for an amateur photographer like me.

Después de la temporada de sequía, la vegetación recupera su follaje de manera muy rápida y la vida comienza a emerger por todas partes. La diversidad de especies es abrumadora y por momentos es difícil decidir hacia donde apuntar el lente de la cámara... ¡Esto es un "problema" delicioso para un aficionado a la fotografía como yo.

Taking these photos is often not easy, as insects are quite nervous subjects and it is often necessary to shoot several times to get a decent result in focus. Another factor to take into account are the frequent mosquito bites and the occasional overly daring ant... I even found a tick on the back of my knee!.... But it's all worth it, because appreciating and capturing so much diversity in an image is a delightful thing to do.

Hacer estas fotos no suele ser fácil, pues los insectos son sujetos bastante nerviosos y suele ser necesario disparar varias veces hasta lograr un resultado decente y en foco. Otro factor a tomar en cuenta son las frecuentes picaduras de mosquitos y una que otra hormiga excesivamente atrevida... ¡Inclusive llegué a encontrar una garrapata en la parte trasera de mi rodilla!... Pero todo esto vale la pena pues apreciar y capturar en una imagen tanta diversidad, es algo delicioso de hacer.

For this photo walk I used my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera and a Tokina ATX-PRO 100mm f/2.8 d MACRO lens whose combined weight is around 1,500 grams... Bad thing for me, being a rather out of form fifty-year-old! 😊... But at the same time, both that camera and that lens, have been with me for more than a decade, so I know them perfectly well and I know what can be done under any conditions with them.

Para este paseo fotográfico he utilizado mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 y un lente Tokina ATX-PRO 100mm f/2.8 d MACRO cuyo peso combinado ronda los 1.500 gramos... ¡Mala cosa para mi, que soy un cincuentón bastante fuera de forma! 😊... Pero al mismo tiempo, tanto esa cámara como ese lente, llevan conmigo más de una década, así que les conozco perfectamente y se lo que se puede hacer bajo cualquier condición con ellos.

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.

NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografiar capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.

Well, this lovely lizard was hiding in the foliage, I imagine its longing face is due to its desire to eat some of the bugs I was photographing.... ☺️ He is a lovely reptile and I don't remember seeing him before in this area of the nearby woods.

Bien, esta encantadora lagartija estaba escondida en el follaje, me imagino que su cara anhelante se debe a su deseo por comerse algunos de los bichos los cuales yo estaba fotografiando... ☺️ Es un reptil encantador y no recuero haberle visto antes en esta área de los bosques cercanos.
