Bipolar disorder, instead of being the annoying condition it is, should be something sold in pill form with effects that last for a certain period of time, or perhaps something that requires some kind of antidote to stop it. I say this because I've lived with profound mood swings for as long as I can remember, and to be honest, the "fun" part is waking up in an absolutely inexplicable "great mood" after several days during which you felt like the whole world was falling apart around you. And those of you who follow my content blog on #Hive (thanks as always for that, guys) may have noticed that many of my recent posts were tinged with a certain sadness, perhaps anger, or at the very least, irony. But today I woke up with a huge grin on my face. I think I even cheerfully waved to a mosquito that had been buzzing in my ear all night. The sun seemed infinitely more beautiful, as did the morning breeze. My morning coffee smelled better than ever today, and I didn't mind having an extremely busy day ahead. So I was quickly dressed and ready to head out to take care of my pending appointments. I barely had breakfast鈥攋ust a banana and some yogurt鈥攂ut both tasted like a treat...

I was out on the streets from early morning until almost 4:00 PM, and although the sun and heat were extreme today, I felt like everything was fine. I visited clients and happily delivered some orders. I even had time to take a taxi to a nearby town and continue exploring the feasibility of a new, more formal business for the near future. When I got home, I had a late, light lunch of rice, carrots, peppers, and some buffalo mozzarella (I've been a lacto-vegetarian since I was 22, as far as I can remember). I drank some delicious guava juice, the taste of which made me smile even more. After lingering over lunch with my mother, my older sister, and my wife, chatting happily, I came back to my little studio and started processing and editing these photos for you here on #Hive, and also writing all this to tell you that I'm feeling like this today. Well, I hope to stay like this for quite a few days. And although my "fluctuations" are becoming less frequent and less intense, they're still a part of me in some strange way. Because when I'm "feeling down," I take photos and write things I couldn't write when I'm happy and content... So, whether I like it or not, a part of me is there in those moments too, obviously...
Y bien, espero quedarme as铆 bastantes d铆as.
