Some photos are a huge tangle, a hybrid of things happening in them. And I am not talking about anything dramatic or any spectacular technical aspect. No, I am talking about more subjective things, and as always, I am talking about myself and my particular way of dealing with this photo-making business, especially street photography. And when I say they are a "huge tangle," I mean that there is a certain type of photography where the everyday, the abstract, the need to express myself, anger itself, fatigue, chromatism, imagination, and—undeniably—a certain touch of madness, hybridize, intertwine, copulate, and manifest themselves in some way there, in a photo which is simply necessary. For this and more, I have felt like calling this series "EXORCISMS" because in the end, these photos are a bit like that: "Me expelling my various demons through a click of the shutter"... Or perhaps, or also: "Me learning to live with those very demons seen and processed"... So that is how it is for me, because in my case, taking photographs serves many purposes, and this one I have told you about today is one of those many...

Algunas fotos son una enorme madeja, un híbrido de cosas sucediendo en ellas. Y no hablo de nada dramático o de algún aspecto técnico espectacular. No, hablo de cosas más subjetivas, y como siempre, hablo acerca de mí mismo y de mi particular manera de llevármelas con esto de hacer fotos, especialmente las callejeras. Y cuando digo que son una "enorme madeja", quiero decir que hay cierto tipo de fotografías en donde lo cotidiano, lo abstracto, la necesidad de expresarme, la ira misma, el cansancio, el cromatismo, la imaginación e —innegablemente— cierto toque de locura, se hibridan, se entrelazan, copulan y se manifiestan de alguna manera allí, en una foto la cual es simplemente necesaria. Por esto y por más, se me ha antojado en llamar a esta serie "EXORCISMOS", porque al final estas fotos son un poco eso: "Yo expulsando mis diversos demonios a través de un clic del obturador"... O quizás, o también: "Yo aprendiendo a vivir con esos demonios mismos vistos y procesados"... Entonces así es esto para mí, porque en mi caso hacer fotografías sirve para muchas cosas, y esta de la cual os he hablado hoy, es una de esas tantas...

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
