Yesterday, I shared with you here on #monomad a post with a lot of photos of dogs on the streets of my town and on the doorsteps of the houses. In the text that accompanied that post, I told you that I had gone out for a walk through the streets during the morning of yesterday, Monday, and that there were practically no people on the streets because of these days in August, when there are school vacations and the townspeople seem to start waking up later in the mornings. But I also told you that, besides many dogs, I found just as many cats and I had likewise taken many photos of them, and well, these are the photos of those other, also charming animals. So charming as far as I am concerned, that I even feel a bit uncomfortable calling them "animals" because for me they are very close souls, rather as if they were something like angels in those shapes, as if they were around to make us better... I like to talk to them, it seems to me that they understand a lot of what one thinks... But anyway, I don't want to seem more strange to you than I already usually do 😂, so here are my photos for you today on #Hive...

El día de ayer compartí con ustedes, aquí en #monomad, una publicación con un montón de fotos de perros en las calles de mi pueblo y en los umbrales de las casas. En el texto con el que acompañé dicha publicación, les conté que había salido a caminar por las calles durante la mañana de ayer lunes y que prácticamente no había personas en las calles por ser estos días de agosto, cuando hay vacaciones escolares y la gente del pueblo parece comenzar a despabilarse más tarde en las mañanas. Pero también les dije que, además de muchos perros, me encontré con igual cantidad de gatos y les había igualmente hecho muchas fotos; y bueno, estas son las fotos de esos otros animales también encantadores. Tan encantadores, en lo que a mí respecta, que hasta me siento un poco incómodo llamándoles "animales", pues para mí son almas muy cercanas, más bien como si fueran algo así como ángeles con esas formas, como si estuvieran alrededor para hacernos mejores... A mí me gusta hablarles, a mí me parece que entienden mucho de lo que uno piensa... Pero en fin, no quiero parecerles más extraño de lo que ya usualmente parezco 😂, así que aquí están mis fotos para ustedes hoy en #Hive...

I enjoyed equally having both dogs and cats practically "just for me" during my street wandering of that yesterday Monday morning. The truth is, at this stage of my life, I have already learned to love cats and dogs equally despite their notable differences regarding the way they interact spiritually with me and I suppose with many other people too...

Disfruté a partes iguales de tener tanto perros como gatos prácticamente "solo para mí" durante mi deambular callejero de esa mañana de ayer lunes. La verdad, a estas alturas de mi vida, ya he aprendido a amar igual a gatos y perros a pesar de sus notables diferencias en cuanto a la manera como interactúan espiritualmente conmigo y supongo que con muchas otras personas más...

It seems to me, or rather I "feel" that when I am in front of a cat, I need him more than he needs me... But with dogs exactly the opposite happens to me and I end up feeling as if they needed more interaction or protection from me than I from them. But, as I said before, to me both creatures seem fascinating and necessary... And here, writing this, I will take the opportunity to name our friend and talented #Hive author @avdesing, whose articles about cats I love to read because they excellently convey what this "cats and us" thing is like at a level that goes beyond the physical and that is very hard for me to explain, but she does it very well... I recommend her blog to anyone who wants to know more about these creatures and their undeniable magic; I know you will enjoy her content...

A mí me parece, o más bien "siento" que cuando estoy enfrente de un gato, yo necesito más de él que él de mí... Pero con los perros me ocurre exactamente lo contrario y termino sintiéndome como si ellos necesitaran más interacción o protección de mi parte que yo de ellos. Pero, como dije antes, para mí ambas criaturas me parecen fascinantes y necesarias... Y aquí, escribiendo esto, aprovecharé para nombrar a nuestra amiga y talentosa autora de #Hive @avdesing, cuyos artículos sobre gatos me fascina leer pues transmiten de manera excelente cómo es esto de "los gatos y nosotros" a un nivel que va más allá de lo físico y que a mí me cuesta mucho explicar, pero ella lo hace muy bien... Recomiendo su blog a quien quiera saber más sobre estas criaturas y su magia innegable; sé que disfrutarán su contenido...
