I unconsciously alternate my way of taking photos in the streets. Sometimes I look, observe, understand, and shoot. I would say those are the days when I am a bit more of a street photographer doing what a street photographer is supposed to do. Other days I am emptier of intentions and can act rather instinctively, and I would say those are the days when I like taking photos the most. But I also have days when the abstraction of thought populates me, and then I can see my thoughts passing by without me paying too much attention to them. Those are the days of separate awareness, and it is on those days in which I usually let myself be carried away by street chromatism, by the simplicity of light resting on anything, and I take photos in a barely conscious way. As if I were barely using this as a catalyst for a kind of introspective meditation in which I lose myself for hours. And these photos today are precisely that kind of photos taken on days like that...

Alterno de manera inconsciente mi manera de hacer fotos en las calles. Algunas veces miro, observo, entiendo y disparo. Yo diría que esos son los días en los que soy un poco más un fotógrafo callejero haciendo lo que un fotógrafo callejero se supone debe hacer. Otros días estoy más vacío de intenciones y puedo actuar de manera más bien instintiva, y yo diría que esos son los días en los que más me gusta hacer fotos. Pero también tengo días en los que la abstracción de pensamiento me puebla, y entonces puedo ver mis pensamientos pasando de largo sin que yo les preste demasiada atención. Son esos los días de consciencia aparte, y es en esos días en los cuales suelo dejarme llevar por el cromatismo callejero, por la simplicidad de la luz posándose sobre cualquier cosa, y hago fotos de manera apenas consciente. Como si apenas estuviese usando esto como un catalizador para una especie de meditación introspectiva en la que me pierdo durante horas. Y estas fotos de hoy son precisamente ese tipo de fotos hechas en esos días así...
