Cryptic money, which has emerged as a hot potato in the IT field, can be regarded as a business that has value and profitable investment. In order to confirm this directly, IT shipbuilding conducted an experiment to construct a mining PC and to try to dig a password.
The mining started from 18:00 on November 13 and checked the amount of money and the power consumption of 10 days from 14th to 23rd except the first day, and confirmed the profitability and business feasibility based on this.
The object to be mined was decided to be Etherium, which has a high trading volume after bit coin. The total amount mined for 10 days is 0.20606145 iron, which is only about 0.21 rounded to the nearest second decimal place.
The daily yield was not constant between 0.019 and 0.021. The average per day is about 0.02 id. As of Nov. 24, if the price is applied at about 450,000 won per 1 dollar per day, the average daily wage is 9,000 won. Based on this, you can earn around 270,000 won by digging about 0.6 iron perium for a month (30 days).
The power consumption was measured by a tester, and pure power was used in an average of 610W (watt) only in the PC main body. It is a power consumption that is the same as turning a single wall-mounted air conditioner around 610Wh per hour. Unlike air conditioners, mining PCs operate 24 hours a day. When it operates for 24 hours, it consumes about 14.64kWh average power per day.
The power consumption in a month is about 439kWh (decimals are declining). Calculated based on low-voltage electricity for home is 84,680 won. However, this is purely the amount of electricity used by the mining PC.
Another variable is the change in the amount of mining. Cryptographic prices are difficult to predict, but they can be predicted because they follow certain rules. However, cryptograms are structured such that when a certain amount is mined, the average amount of digging is reduced step by step.
