The big news with this update is that I sold my Oshuur. Such a great card, but at over $40 I couldn't resist. For most of this past year I've been working to spread my deck wide. I've been trying to get all of the cards from Chaos Legion. With my sale of Oshuur I did get one step closer to that as I was able to finally get a copy of Grandmaster Rathe. Now all I need are Baakjira and Lily Shieldpaw.
Here's a picture showing where my legendary card holdings are at
I still have yet to buy or win a legendary gold foil, but I have started renting some with some regularity.
The bulk of my recent card purchases were a couple of weeks ago surrounding the time that I sold Oshuur. Since those purchases I've been gradually increasing my SPS holdings.
Some of those recent purchases were focused more on leveling cards up instead of just spreading out. Ultimately you have to level some stuff up at least a little to compete in gold.

I've also been renting several cards to try keeping up in gold league. After dipping back into Gold II several times I was able to finish the season in Gold I and I declined to try Diamond III when my rating got up there.
Moving forward my medium term goal for SPS is to reach 10,000. I'm trying to balance that with some occasional card purchases depending on where I think the value is. There are so many incredible assets to balance within the Splinterlands ecosystem.
I'm really excited to have a lull and an opportunity for card prices to appreciate before the release of Rebellion. I don't think that we can consider ourselves in that lull until Riftwatchers sells out. My plan from last year had been to sell 1/4 to 1/2 of my SPS to invest in Rebellion along with my vouchers, but that may require some significant revision depending on where SPS requirements land for league cutoffs.
