I went all in on dragons this week.
Here's a link for this week's battle

Here's the ruleset
Lineup:
Summoner: Delwyn Dragonscale
Brighton Bloom would have been an excellent choice here, but there was enough mana that I wanted to get the most out of my level 2 Chaos Dragon and my Brighton isn't leveled up.
Delwyn buffs all of my magic attacks but more importantly I have a level 4 Delwyn and this gives me access to my dragon monsters.
Tank: Gloridax Soldier
This soldier has the Flying and Shield abilities to not take any earthquake damage and to soak up a few hits.
1st position: Nectar Queen
The Queen is big, soaks up hits and hits hard. I considered this in front of the Gloridax Soldier but opted for the other way around.
2nd position: Void Dragon
Void is fantastic to have near the front but this dragon doesn't have to be the tank because magic works from anywhere on the back line.
3rd position: Chaos Dragon
My level 2 Chaos Dragon is the star of the show as usual. I frequently have Chaos Dragon hold my rear tank position but I didn't want to vulnerable to sneak attacks with the Unprotected rule set.
4th position: Gargoya Devil
Another flyer that packs a punch.
5th position (rear tank): Runic Skyclaw
This dragon packs a punch and swings fast. This is a fantastic card from the new Riftwatchers set.
Did we win?
Oh yeah!
Do I like dragons?
Yes, still my favorite splinter.
What will I try differently next time?
With all this mana and new cards to play with there were a ton of options. You can't really go wrong with Brighton Bloom in the Earthquake ruleset. I thought about using Unicorn Mustang or Robo-Dragon Knight as my tank but it seemed like a lot of mana for a monster to be taking earthquake damage and to not have any armor.
Thanks for reading and thanks for all the upvotes, reblogs, comments and follows. I'll see you in the game.
