For many of you who have had a consecutive streak of being on this amazing blockchain may view my enthusiasm as something you can relate to or something that makes you say "hey bud, I've been here done that multiple times over and over".
The thing is, as some of you know, if not many of you know; that I spent five years of my life on HIVE and it was one of my daily priorities bar none.
Unfortunately, I lost the enthusiasm and the steam to continue and walked away. Powered down everything and left a little just in case I ever wanted to come back. That part was the best thing I did second to joining HIVE in the first place.
Why do I rehash that part of my story here?
Well, I came back after two years away and I have an extra gear to my passion for this blockchain. The only difference is that I'm trying to keep it more concise by mostly spending time on the short form platforms like @snapie (snaps)
@liketu (moments)
@ecency (waves) and
@sportsblock (sportsbites) which for an American Sports fanatic I wish this would have been here the five years I spent here previously. Honorable mention to
@hivesuite.app which has me checking in daily and occasionally I will post my snap using the app.
@peakd was my go to back in the day, so I like to still use some of it's features.
Circling back to the reason of this post is that today was #hpud for the first of November 2026 and I don't remember when was the last time I participated before I left the 'chain back then, but I did power up on the first of every month more than my share of times.
What I never did was power up as much as I did today.
8500 HIVE
I went into one of my centralized accounts transferred BTC to another account bought some LTC and deposited here and converted into #hive.
As soon as I saw the post about HPUD, I had forgotten about it and I was YES; I'm in. But I wanted to go in bigger than ever.
Simultaneously, I became a Dolphin lol.
I now have more HIVE than I did when I left, have moved up to Dolphin and my activity is seamlessly flowing daily because of the short form accessibility on my phone when I can't be on my laptop. This has been in just a few months upon my return to the blockchain that I have always considered one of my special homes. Where I live with my family, where I workout with my fellow Orangetheory Fitness family, where I earn my paycheck with my fellow colleagues at the office and my home here with my fellow HIVERS.
Some extra Kudos to @hivebuzz for always adding the accomplishment love to us HIVERS and
@jongolson who is the reason I joined HIVE in the first place and the members of all this blockchain's wonderful communities that I will find time to spend more time curating and visiting as time allows. For now, I've been able to drop in and drop some comments at some of my favorite communities regarding Food and Photography 馃槈
