I discuss recent findings that are troubling. The permafrost is being affected more so than previously thought with the potential for more thawing deeper down. This of course has the potential to release more methane and CO2.
I misspoke at 4:44. Melting is the change in physical state from solid to liquid. Thawing is simply going to an unfrozen situation. (Got a little carried away there!)
