I started with a blue-colored sketch. From this point, I knew that my proportions are not the same with the original one, haha. I am bad with proportions! 😆 But then I just want to capture the pose and the details using the reference that I chose from Pinterest. Sometimes, the more I stare, the more I see flaws and that is why it is important to pause from time to time.
I thought the color orange, red, and brown complement each other. 😄 But Wuzaru's color palette alone is cool! I colored per part in different layers so that it is easier to do the shading later.
I used a rough brush for the tree to make some texture on the tree. On the background, I used a leaf brush and then layered it with different shades of green. I put the layers on a folder and then used the blur brush to make an illusion of depth. And then, added some leaves, lights and some tadaaa~ ✨
