Hello! 🥳

Hello! I thought of something fun for today. 🥳 I always wanted to know how my NFT collection looks like in a different artstyle. Today, I chose CB-7, now owned by demotry@demotry. 🥳 I have done this artstyle in another character here.

And, I think it is more than a month now since I minted, hehe. I need to catch up! 😄 There are still up for grabs! 💖

I have seen this short Tiktok video saying that, do things that you do not like and you will become resilient/strong. Hmm, I was thinking, I do things every day that I don't like. 😁 So am I strong? hahah. Anyways~ in the art context, I am not fond of drawing mecha or robots. 😆 It is not just my vibe. I appreciate artists who can easily draw robots like Gundam and Zoids. Very cool! This is one of the reasons why I drew this character, to test my skill. 😆 It is also inspired by the anime Eureka 7.

I separated the hand since and other body parts. It helps me visualize the hand better. I used a solid pencil brush for the lineart.

Almost all the colors are color-picked from the original art. I kind of like the combination color of the hair. Hot pink and lime green go together. I thought of coloring the bangs with two different colors. I added the glasses to look techie. I added a layer and put it into screen mode for the glasses. I like my choice of skin color here. It complements the color of the hair and the mecha suit. I added some shadowings and blush on the cheeks. Aside from the solid hair, I added more hair strands. Added shine to the hair using a soft brush and airbrush.

Final Art

I set a layer in multiply mode and adjusted the opacity. I added some light beams at the back and make them glow, similar to neon lights. I adjusted the intensity of the lights. Added the reflection glow on the hair. Added more strands of hair, especially on the bangs. The final touch is the noise monochrome (little dots) and set it to 10 percent opacity.

Finished art!! 🥰 I enjoyed doing this art.

Thanks for reading~ 💖
