So I realized how Noxic is so small, or isn't? 😄 It is an insect after all. So my peg for this art is like a macrophotography-ish (Ahh, I miss taking macro shoots!). And so I searched for a nice reference on Pinterest. I like that the environment is somewhat dawn, with some dew on the grass.

This angle was hard to compose! Good thing that there's a reference in the resources on the Discord channel. Noxic's very detailed, so I had to double-check if I was doing it right, haha.

I then applied a gradient of orange and brown on the background using an airbrush. I wanted it to look like dawn, so I just experimented. For the grass, initially, I was thinking of green grass, but it would not blend with the orange gradient background. I manually did the grass and then blurred it out to create depth.

This is without the dew.

And the final art

I added the lights, which make it more interesting. I used the glow brush and the bokeh light brush.

I had fun making this fan art.
