It has been months since I posted in this community again.😅 I think the last one was back in January when I posted my collection of PS3 games. I am not really playing any of my consoles now because adulting happened. As a 21-year-old full of responsibilities, I stopped playing and they are just tucked away and accumulating with dust.🤧
Since joining the Discord server of Hive Gaming, I felt a little fire of excitement suddenly. Oh~ all along, I was just looking for a community with the same interest. I love a community wherein I can communicate with the same wavelength. It is awkward to feel alienated from a group because they feel like I am talking gibberish. 😂
Ahh~ I miss the days when I am up all night until 3 am just to watch my game patched. Sometimes just waiting for the free drops. I remember finishing quests just to get a recipe to forge a dagger. This world of video games is one of the blocks of my childhood. 😌
I want to bring back my gaming phase, but now just low-key. 🥳 Also, I want to meet new friends in the gaming community! Yey!
So I opened my Switch just to check if he is still working. 🤣 I used to play Overcooked! a lot with my sister during the height of the pandemic. Cuphead too! 🍳🥘 We played for hours and hours! It was a happy pill during those dark times. It is like Cooking Mama(I played on DS) but more of a co-op game. I have not played the 2nd version, though.
So basically at the start of the game, there are different play games. This one is the Campaign Mode. A map will appear and you have to cook at every stop.
Before the cooking starts, an instruction will be flashed. Though no words of instruction, the illustration is pretty self-explanatory. So to make a basic soup, you need three onions, chopped, and put all in the pot.
As I said, this is a co-op game. Ideally, two people should play the game. Since I am forever alone, I will split my brain into two! 🤣🤣🤣 Let's see if I will get ⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating.
The first thing I did was to get the onion from the box and place them on the table. I then clicked L to switch players. Now, I have to chop the onions. 🧅 I have to put the chopped onions back on the table for the other player to put them on the pot.
I kept an eye on the pot because the onions might get burned. You don't want to repeat the whole process, don't you? 😅 I had to pick them up from the stove before the disaster.
There is a timer on the lower right side of the screen, so I better not zone out here. 🤣 Each order has a timer too, so I have to serve them before time ran out. If confused or lost, an arrow will help you to point what is the next step. At this point both of my brain the players are working! 😆
I served the order before the time run out! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
(At least I can serve excellent food here unlike the real world) 😅
Dirty dishes will be returned and I had to wash them plates because who else will? 🤣 Okay, I am running three brains here already. 🤣
Look! So many orders and I only had 1:23 minutes to finish all.
Hurry!
I had to create a strategy to optimize the time of both players. While the other one is chopping, the other one is getting onions on the box. When not chopping, wash the dishes.
It is much easier and faster if there are two individual people playing this game, but it is manageable if you get used to it. Well, well, looking for my player 2! 😆
Aww, time is up! 😄 I still have orders coming up. Oh, well.
I still got ⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!
This is a nice warm-up to get back to playing again. I thought I lost that passion for playing video games. 🙂 Also, I want to make emojis for this kind of blog. Expect me to be more active in this community. I will post more here. Maybe next time I will put short videos.🙂
That is it for this blog. I will see you next time!
