Here is my fan art of Cinella in a dandelion field. 😁
Art Process
- sketch and line art
I drew Cinella first before the background. The pose I wanted was Cinella, which was like hopping around, and so the feet should be spreading. Also, the antennas should match the pose so it looks like they were pushed back.
- base color and rendering
I just copied the color from the original art and then adjusted the hues and saturation based on the environment. Since is set on a sunny day, I used a yellow color for the shine using an airbrush.
- background
I finished the subject first and then moved on to the background. I used a thick cloud brush for the dandelions. I just copied from the reference for the strands of the dandelions. I then masked the canvas with yellows and reds for the environment.
